Health and Development Society Nepal (HDSN) has been steadfastly organizing training programs, health initiatives, and team preparations for children with intellectual disabilities in Nepal. These efforts are directed towards ensuring that these special children receive the recognition and opportunities they deserve on both national and international platforms. HDSN is committed to facilitating the successful completion of their mission to represent the special children of Nepal on the world stage.

The specific objectives of the program are:
- To increase accessibility of intellectually disabled to physical and mental activities
- To improve the health, well-being and skills of special children
- To promote equal opportunity for men and women with intellectually disability to participate sports at all levels. Likewise, to provide an opportunity to experience social and moral integration for children with intellectual disabilities considering gender equity
- To defense the rights of children with intellectual disabilities, spreads the message of peace, combats, discrimination and safeguards good health
- Improve the socio economic status of the family of the intellectually disabled child by training to improve their skills, social contacts, and introducing markets
The program is going to represent the special children of Nepal to the world and bring social changes in them. Ultimately, the programs will help to bring the social changes, social inclusion, and gender equity, improve socio-economic status of the people with low socio economic status.
Everyone can make positive change happen with a few positive steps and more inclusive practices in sports grounds to make our spaces open for all children.
